wedding shows and woes

i was just now able to watch last wednesday's episode of project runway. the final challenge was for each of the remaining designers to create a wedding dress [that reflects each designer's personal stlye] as well as a bridesmaid dress. quite appropriate considering i had to fly back to the carolinas to fulfil my bridesmaid duties at allison's wedding this past weekend.
here's the part of the episode featuring the final runway show before the fashion finale.

i agree with the judges. leeann and kenley were the best. jerrel and korto were not.
however, kenley's wedding dress (left) was super similar to the alexander mcqueen dress...

i'll let you make up your own mind as to whether she copied it or not. i've seen this situation happen a few times here in ad school. there is a fine line between 'inspiration' and 'duplication.'
[if she did copy it, she definitely made some improvements. it looks more polished and put together.]

can't wait for the finale in two days!!!
