halloweekend recap

as promised, here are a few pics from (halloween + weekend =) halloweekend.

i have a great class at cp+b in which we become better acquainted with css and dreamweaver. basically we are building portfolio websites. i am kind of familiar with html so its not that bad learning xhtml. geekiest 'costume' award goes to computer code tattoo guy.


hands down the most popular costumes this year were sarah palin and the joker:

let's play dress up!

october is definitely my favorite month of the year. the weather is crisp, the leaves are colorful and then of course there are the costumes and candy at halloween. dressing up and eating sugar - pretty much two of my favorite things.
i don't know how the tradition began but to borrow a line from mean girls,



"in girl world...halloween is the one night a year when a girl can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it."

so that being said, here are a few characters and costumes i am considering:




[alice in wonderland > indiana jones > rainbow brite > mad hatter > willy wonka > queen of hearts]

...and these aren't even the most scandalous ones. i remember in college this one girl literally only wore lingerie and angel wings. of course that was in tampa where it is still at least in the '70's or warmer in october. these outfits may be skimpy, but in the summer you walk around in a bikini that only just covers the goods.
