collective election coverage

current tv, digg and twitter are collectively covering the election tomorrow. i'm going to try to tune in because it's probably going to be more relevant to my gemeration than what i would see on fox or msnbc.

chewed up and spit out

the gum election may not be as accurate or pc as the gallop polls, but it does show the popular opinion of gum chewers. these posters have been out since early october in new york and now they've made their way to boulder. not surprisingly, mccain has accumulated more wads of disapproval here.

sidenote: i can't wait for all this horrible political advertising to be overwith!

how to elect a president

i love these videos that explain things 'in plain english' by common craft. the first video i remember seeing from them was the one about twitter. check out their youtube channel for more videos.

make up your mind

i personally am having a bit of trouble deciding which candidate i want to vote for in the presidential election, which is less than a month away.
i was so excited when i stumbled upon this simple, interactive and non-partisan 'match-o-matic' quiz from abc news in cooperation with usa today.

it compares concise quotes from each candidate on all the important issues like immigration, health, the economy, iraq and more.

there is an odd number of questions so you will end up on one side or the other. i was about even with 6/7. i still don't know who to vote for, but i have a better idea of who i agree with on each issue.
