Commercial Culture

Advertising often crosses cultural borders. I think if an idea is really good, it can be universal. Here's an example by Sprite:

And the US version, which I don't remember ever seeing here.


I'm not sure which one came first but I think the Chinese one is better. I like the song for it too.

I discovered these when I was looking for that classic Sprite Anti-Ad, where that NBA dude, Grant Hill I think, blatantly endorses the product and little dollar signs pop up everytime he mentions the brand... Which was inspired by the fact that Mountain Dew is our next client for my Account Planning Projects class.
