a groovy new tune

the 'civic muscial road' is a located on a quarter-mile stretch of asphalt in lancaster, california. when you drive over it at 55 mph, you hear part of the tune from the lone ranger theme song. it's not the first of its kind; similar roads have been built in south korea, japan and holland. the only downside: nearby residents don't find the novel noise as appealing when they are trying to sleep at night.

but, when i went to the website expecting something equally exciting, it just shows you a bunch of different civic models that you can buy. kind of a let-down.

still, tons of people have filmed themselves driving over this part of the desert highway and posted it on youtube.
